Nak's 50 for Puerto Rico

Please join me in celebrating my 50th birthday by raising funds for Puerto Rico!

Minimum donation $65 for party attendance on Nov 14th at Ranch 616 at 8:00 pm.

This is an issue dear to Walter and myself as Walter is a native of Puerto Rico and we have both family and friends who were affected by the storm. Hurricane Maria has devastated Puerto Rico and pushed the island’s 3.4 million residents into a desperate humanitarian crisis. Nearly every home is without power, and clean water, food, medicine and fuel are all in short supply.

If you’re like me, it breaks your heart to see families suffering. I want you to know that our action—and combined generosity—can save lives.

Mercy Corps’ seasoned emergency response team is tirelessly working to meet the needs of children and families in Puerto Rico, providing access to cash, clean water, food, and other urgently needed supplies and helping with recovery efforts.

To that end, I'm holding a birthday celebration on November 14th at Ranch 616 in Austin at 8 pm to benefit Puerto Rico! Kevin Williamson has donated his iconic restaurant that evening to ensure that 100% of your donation goes directly to Mercy Corps and their tireless efforts to help the people of Puerto Rico.   

I can't think of a better way to celebrate my 50th year on this planet than bringing all my favorite people together to do good for others!

If you can't attend my birthday party, you'll be missed for sure but any donation you make will still help families in Puerto Rico get the critical supplies and support they need to survive and begin to recover.
