Build Beyond Disaster

Following Hurricane Maria, Mercy Corps is supporting relief and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico, where their team is focused on helping local organizations work to deliver humanitarian assistance and start rebuilding the communities ravaged by the storm. Puerto Ricans are inspiring Mercy Corps and Nau with their commitment to building back better than before the storm, and Mercy Corps has been moved to bring their global experience, expertise, and contacts to the recovery and rebuilding effort.

Mercy Corps is an organization powered by the belief that a better world is possible. That drive towards better is the same vision that powers Nau, and is why we’ve been working with Mercy Corps as a Partner for Change for nearly a decade.

Mercy Corps is bringing warm food, safe water, solar-powered lanterns, and emergency cash to vulnerable communities in Puerto Rico, providing families with the tools they need to weather the months it will take for permanent services to come back online.

To aid their efforts Nau is asking everyone to join us in support of Mercy Corps, knowing that your funds are not only heeding immediate recovery needs, but also creating lasting positive change for Puerto Rico. We’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 in funding over the next six weeks and to help get things started, Nau will match the first $1,000 in donations dollar for dollar.
